Two charged after burglary in Bogard in September

CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. — Two Livingston County residents are accused of felony charges after they were arrested in September.

According to a probable cause statement, Kyle L. Case, 29, and Slade R. Rachelle allegedly burglarized a home and stole more than $4,000 worth of personal belongings from a residence in Bogard.

Officers were patrolling south on Highway T when they located a pickup going northbound. The vehicle increased speed after law enforcement initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle then slowed down and the suspects tried to escape on foot.

The suspects were apprehended and are both charged with burglary in the second degree and felony stealing $750 or more.

Case and Rachelle are currently held on $20,000 cash only bond.

Court dates are pending.
