Two Collide in Lafayette Co.

(Update 10:45 a.m.) – Two Wellington residents sustained moderate injuries in a two vehicle accident early Saturday morning in Lafayette County.  The Highway Patrol revised the crash report late Saturday morning.  Investigators said Goins refused treatment at the scene for minor injuries.  Goins’ passenger, Breanna Howard, 18, and Day were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center.

 

A Wellington man sustained moderate injuries in a two vehicle accident early Saturday morning in Lafayette County.  The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highways 24 and 131 as Jacob Goins, 21, of Sibley, attempted to turn onto 131, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  Investigators said he drove into the path of a vehicle driven by Nathaniel Day, 20.  Goins was not injured.  Day was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center.
