Two Hurt in Caldwell County Accident

An accident in Caldwell County just before midnight Thursday night injured two people. According to reports from the Highway Patrol Chance Cade, 16, of Iowa was driving east on Highway 116 east of Tait Road when an unknown driver forced him off the road from the opposite direction. Cade’s vehicle ran off the road, hit a ditch, rolled several times ejecting the driver. Cade had serious injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital. His passenger Garlan Nelson, 20, of Braymer had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
