Two Injured in Crash, No Seatbelts

A crash without safety restraints sent two Hale residents to the hospital Monday afternoon.

According to the Highway Patrol, Richard Windsor, 49, was turning from County Road 322 onto County Road 387 when he struck Charles Summers, 19, nearly head-on. Windsor and his wife, Lorie Windsor, 45, were transported to Hedrick Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The passengers in Summers’ vehicle were wearing seatbelts and were not harmed.
