Two Seriously Injured in DeKalb Co. Crash

One vehicle accident in DeKalb County sent two Stewartsville residents to the hospital Saturday evening.

The highway patrol reports that 24-year-old Kacy Teeter was driving eastbound on Highway 36 near Cameron when she swerved off the roadway for an unknown reason, and struck a ditch. The car rolled twice and crashed through a fence; coming to rest in a field.

Teeter and passenger 26-year-old Jacob Bennett suffered serious injuries and were transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center for treatment.
