Cow Patty Bingo is coming up in Odessa! A fun and unique way to help raise money for two local organizations, is being held Saturday, May 10th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at New Horizon Presbyterian Church. The church is located just outside of Odessa on the south side on MO-131 South.
“Throughout the day we will have a bounce house for the children, a rodeo clown, food we will be selling and there’s a silent auction,” said Library Branch Manager Linda Washam. “It’s going to be like a mini Fair Day.”
A grid with all the number of the tickets sold will be drawn out in the field next to the church. The numbers will be electronically shuffled to make sure everyone has a fair chance of winning. The cow will be released into the field next to the church at 1 p.m. The person holding the ticket with the number of whichever square she makes her deposit on is the winner.
There will be additional chances to win! Two tickets will be drawn for prizes worth at least $100 and 10 other tickets will be drawn for prizes worth $25 each.
The Cow Costume Contest starts at 12:30 p.m. with even more prizes being awarded.
Tickets are still available for $25 each. They can be purchased at the Odessa Library or from an Attitude Fastpitch Softball parent. You need not be present to win! If all 625 tickets get purchased, there will be a grand prize of $5,000.
Proceeds will benefit both organizations.
For more information or to purchase a ticket, contact the Odessa Library at 816-633-4089 or an Attitude Fastpitch Softball parent at 816-651-1985.
