ST. JOSEPH – Work to the roadside will narrow westbound U.S. Hwy 36 to one lane in Caldwell County beginning Thursday, Nov. 8, in Caldwell County, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

One lane of westbound U.S. Hwy 36 will be closed near the railroad bridge, approximately five miles east of Hamilton, on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., as crews work on the slope near the bridge. The work will continue daily, except for the weekend, and may take a week to complete.

MoDOT apologizes for any inconvenience that this necessary work may cause and encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up and drive safely through work zones to ensure everyone can Arrive Alive.
