UPDATE: 8-year-old boy missing out of Lee’s Summit located

UPDATE: 2:22:25 p.m. 07/11/2018- The missing child has been located according to the Lee’s Summit Police Department.

 

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo.- The Lee’s Summit Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating a missing 8 year-old-boy.

According to a release, the boy is identified as Gabriel Day, a white male, with strawberry blonde hair. He was last seen at around 10:00 a.m., this morning, in the are of US 50 and 291 Highways near Lee’s Summit High School. Gabriel was reportedly on a red and black bike, possibly wearing a green “Minecraft” shirt and possibly without shoes. The release also indicates that Gabriel is diagnosed with autism, ADHD and is bipolar so he may not respond well.

Authorities are urging anyone who sees Gabriel to call 911 immediately.
