UPDATE: Fatal accident attended by Lexington responders

UPDATE: (06/16/18 6:30 p.m.) – A Kansas City man died after his motorcycle collided with a car in Lafayette County, just after noon today (Sat). The Missouri Highway Patrol crash report indicates that Robert E. Crowley, 43, was eastbound behind the car on Highway 224, at 25th Street in Lexington. Investigators believe Crowley pulled out to pass Terri Milburn, 44, of Lexington, as her vehicle turned left onto 25th Street. Both vehicles went off the left side of the highway and Crowley was ejected. Crowley died later at Lafayette Regional Hospital. Milburn was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

LEXINGTON, MO – Initial information indicates an accident occurred in Lexington this afternoon.

Missouri Highway Patrol confirmed the crash after 1 p.m., near the region of Main and 24th streets involving a motorcycle. Information also suggests injuries were inflicted in the crash, and victims will be airlifted to area hospitals.

The identity of persons involved have not been divulged by authorities.
