UPDATE: Missing teenager from Monroe City located safe in Hannibal

UPDATE: 02/21/2018 1:32:00 p.m.- The Monroe City Police Department has cancelled an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at 401 Catherine St, Monroe City, Missouri at 7:00 P.M. on February 19, 2018.

Caitlyn Carey was located safe in Hannibal, Missouri.

MONROE CITY, Mo.- The Monroe City Police Department in conjunction with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at 401 Catherine St, at 7:00 p.m., yesterday, in Monroe City.

The missing person is being identified as Caitlyn Marie Carey, 13, a white female. She is 5’4″, weighing 155 pounds, brown and blonde shoulder length hair, brown eyes and fair complexion with a small mole on her left cheek .Carey wears contacts or glasses however her glasses are broken but she will still wear them with a pair of fake blue glasses over them.

Carey was reportedly last seen getting into a car around 7:00 p.m., last night with an unknown male.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Monroe City Police Department at  (573) 735-4585 ext. 239.
