CHILLICOTHE, MO – For the third time, a warrant was served for the arrest of a Utica resident accused of stealing from a relative last year.

An appearance bond was posted twice by Susan Mobley, 57, and was twice revoked by the court, citing violation reports. Mobley is charged with stealing nearly $11,000 from a bank account belonging to Mobley’s mother, Bonnie Thompson. Thompson was diagnosed with dementia last year, but insists Mobley stole the money. Mobley, who at that time had power of attorney over Thompson, said the money she extracted from the account was a gift from Thompson.

The warrant served Monday was in conjunction with a new bond amount set at $100,000.
