Speculation of gang-related activity in Carrollton is growing.  A few residents have reported problems with a mutating culture they say is increasing in size and violence.  When the issue was brought up to local law enforcement by KMZU News last month, police believed they had everything under control.  But an incident two weeks ago has left Homeowner Jeff Tindell with doubts.  Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with Tindell:

According to Tindell, one juvenile approached him and asked if he could swim in his pool. “I told him the pool was closed and he would have to go somewhere else,” said Tindell.

When Tindell arrived back from a vacation a few days later, he found his lawn furniture scattered across the backyard and into the pool.

“I noticed that he had a red Carrollton Trojan shirt on and one glove. I thought it was kind of interesting,” Tindell told investigators.  “I had a conversation with the Sheriff’s Department and piecing together some of the information, it appears they have an idea of who the young men were.”

Carrollton police could not be reached for comment Monday.
