The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after several Odessa school buses were vandalized. The crime reportedly occurred sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s department. Authorities said batteries were missing from four buses when drivers reported for duty Monday. Officials said service was not interrupted. The vandalism has been linked to a massive battery theft in September. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office at (660) 259-3622.
