Participants in the walking program committed to walking at least five days a week during its run of eight weeks.  Those who turn in their logs by November 9th are entered in prize drawings, regardless of if they met their goal.  They hope to hold it again.  “This was part of a grant project called Walk Chillicothe that will wrap up about in mid-December,” said Burchett, “We’re going to try to continue the walking challenges next year on our own, without funding, so we anticipate doing it again in the spring and fall, but nothing official has been set yet.”
