Cold air has moved into the region, taking temperatures below average for this time of year. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with National Weather Service Meteorologist Ryan Cutter:
“The front that moved in on Sunday night will quickly move out and another week of warm weather is on tap,” Cutter said. “Monday is going to be the cold day this week. We will probably struggle to see temperatures in the afternoon reach into the 30s.”
According to Cutter, the next cold front will move following rain on Friday night. “By Sunday we would look for temperatures to drop back off, but just back to what we consider seasonally normal across this part of the country this time of year.”
As far as the chance for snow, Cutter said it’s not likely (at least not within the next week).
