Warrant served, new charges suggested for Kansas City resident arrested in Bates County

BATES COUNTY, Mo. — A warrant was served and new charges suggested for a Kansas City resident arrested in Bates County early Sunday morning.

James Niebur, 42, was arrested at 2:46 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from Missouri State Highway Patrol. A felony warrant was served, in addition to newly suggested charges for alleged felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no valid driver’s license.

Niebur was transported to Bates County Jail. No bond has been set.
