Warrants from multiple counties prompt patrol arrest

CHARITON COUNTY, MO – An arrest was made by Highway Patrol in Chariton County Monday morning after the subject failed to appear in multiple counties for drug possession cases.

State troopers report Dawn Johnson, 40, was taken into custody for felony possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Outstanding warrants for failure to appear were out of Pettis, Cass, and Lawrence Counties. Johnson was taken to Chariton County Jail without bond.
