A nearly three-year-old investigation has ended with charges filed against several men, including a Lexington resident. Jacob Dennett, 40, of Kansas City, William Roth, 40, of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Jeffrey Lewis, 46, of Lexington, were charged Tuesday with felony burglary, theft, and stealing a motor vehicle. They were first arrested by Lafayette County Sheriff’s deputies in Dec. 2009. Warrants have been issued in the case, but none of the suspects have been arrested. Bonds for both Dennett and Lewis were set at $25,000. Roth’s bond stands at $15,000.
