A Warrensburg resident is facing charges related to a motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday night in Johnson County.  Dustin Current, 28, was taken into custody on allegations of driving while intoxicated, assault, and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway – resulting in an accident, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Investigators said Current was westbound on Highway 50 at the Highway 13 interchange when he traveled off the road and down a grassy embankment.  Current’s passenger, Alleena Burke, 39, of Warrensburg, was ejected in the crash.  She was transported to an area hospital with moderate injuries.
