Warrensburg Man Hurt in Fiery Crash

A Warrensburg resident received moderate injuries following an accident Tuesday in Johnson County.  The crash occurred around 12:00 p.m. near the intersection of Highways 50 and 58.  Jacob Williams, 27, was eastbound on Highway 50 when he traveled off the road, struck a sign, and then an electrical pole, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  The vehicle reportedly overturned and caught fire.  Williams was transported to Lee’s Summit Hospital.
