Water service has been restored in the City of Breckenridge.  Residents have had little to no water since Tuesday.  Caldwell County Emergency Management spokesperson George Pease said a boil order is in effect for at least the next five days.

Water is available at the fire station for residents who are not able to boil their own water, but Pease ask citizens to only use that service in emergency situations.  Residents who are not able to drive or leave their homes can call city hall at (660) 644-5613 or the fire department at (660) 644-5252.
