Wet pavement potential cause of Higginsville crash

HIGGINSVILLE, MO – During a crash this morning in Lafayette County, A Higginsville man received injuries.

Wet pavement is partially blamed for the accident at the ramp from 13 Highway to I-70 westbound. After a vehicle driven by David Libby, 56, slid on the wet surface, it went off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.

Libby reported moderate injuries. He was taken to Centerpoint Hospital.
