This year’s theme is “Where Does Your Water Shed?”  All Livingston County students in grades four through twelve, including homeschoolers, are eligible to participate.  Materials will be dropped off at the schools this week.

Students in grades four through six will compete against each other, and 7th through 12th graders will face each other.  Cash prizes will be awarded to winners in the two categories.

“Where Does Your Water Shed?” is the 2013 theme for the annual Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District Poster Contest.  The contest will be launched January 14 and will continue through February 6.

Presentations will be made to 4th – 6th grade students attending school in Livingston County.  Any 7th – 12th grade student who would like to participate in the countwide contest can obtain information from their school’s art teacher or from teh Livingston County SWCD office.  The contest is also open to any 4th – 12th grade studen tthat is home schooled in the county.
