A three-acre display of Christmas Decorations is lighting up Callao. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross speak with Bruce Latchford:
They started setting up the display on October 6th. About 5,500 people made the trip to see his work last year. The lights are left on from 5:15 to 10:00 every evening and there is no cost to walk or drive through.
Latchford said there is a guest book, and a donation box has been set up to help offset the cost of electricity, but anyone can visit for free. If a disabled or elderly person visits, he said they are welcome to find him and take a ride through on his golf cart.
To get to the scene from Highway 36, Latchford said to make a right at the four-way stop after coming in to Callao.
