Woman travels down 60-foot embankment, requires air ambulance for injuries

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A Kansas City resident was seriously injured Saturday after her vehicle traveled down an embankment in Camden County.

According to Missouri State highway Patrol’s crash report, 64-year-old Theresa Grist was backing northbound on Flintstone Circle at 1:35 p.m. when she traveled off the west side of the roadway and down a 60-foot embankment, coming to rest on Bedrock Drive.

Grist was seriously injured in the incident. Grist, who was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident according to MSHP, was transported to University Hospital by Staff for Life.
