A Chillicothe man who was released on a $50,000 bond in mid-February is being allowed to travel outside the state. A request filed by Mark Woodworth’s attorney on Thursday was not opposed by the State and Woodworth was given permission to see his ailing aunt in Arizona. The now 38-year-old was twice convicted in the 1990 shooting death of his neighbor Cathy Robertson. The Missouri Supreme Court overturned the latest conviction in January and Woodworth was released from custody as the state prepares to try him for a third time. He is scheduled to return to a Platte County courtroom on Apr. 18 at 10:30 a.m.
