Wreck east of Hamilton involving tractor causes injury

HAMILTON, MO – Occupants received injuries Friday afternoon when a passenger vehicle struck a John Deere Tractor in the roadway.

A vehicle driven by Peyton Henderson, 17, attempted to pass the tractor one mile east of Hamilton in the eastbound lanes of 36 Highway. Henderson’s vehicle was reportedly clipped by the tractor as it veered partially into the passing lane, according to the Highway Patrol crash report. The car crossed the westbound lanes after impact, and travelled down an embankment off the north side of the road. Henderson, and passenger, Dominick Hurst, 14, were treated at Cameron Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
