A Bates City resident appeared in court on drug charges this week. Christopher Zevecke, 31, was arrested after deputies served a warrant on his home in February and found a marijuana-growing operation. He has been charged with one count of possession with the intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Zevecke posted his $100,000 bond in February. He will next appear in a Lafayette County Courtroom at 10:00 on April 15th.
