Limback said the carnival is open from 6:00 to 10:00, plus much more.  “At 6:30, we will have a washer tournament, “said Limback, “There is an entry fee of $20 per team.  At 7:00 is the Miss Corder pageant and the talent show will begin at 8:00.  Following that, the group June Bug and the Porch Lights will play.  Of course, food starts at 5:00 that will include the VFW hog and brisket dinner, the Lion’s Club Food Stand the the Fire Protection District pie and ice cream stand.”

Limback went on to describe the type of entertainment expected from the concert.  “It’s a bit of a mix,” said Limback, “They’re a blues style.  They will take country songs and blues them up.  It’s a really good time.  I’ve heard them twice and always enjoyed it.”

There is a $7 admission fee for the musical event.
