CARROLLTON, Mo. – The Carrollton City Council will gather in Chambers of City Hall at 6 P.M. Monday, April 18, 2016 with a brief agenda.

First up will be appearances by Carroll County Area Economic Alliance Executive Director Sharon Metz, MoDOT Area Engineer Tonya Lohman and Lance Rains with GHRPC to discuss a grant application aimed at bringing a train stop by Amtrak to the Carrollton rail yard.

There will also be an ordinance discussed relating the April 5th election results and an additional discussion related to a liquor license.

After proceedings, council will open a time capsule recently uncovered at the old police station. It was reportedly sealed in 1936 and the contents will be unveiled tonight at Carrollton City Hall.
