|A school resource officer in the Chillicothe School District has completed an investigation into claims of rape. Former tennis coach, Roy Yeoman, 23, was arrested Thursday for second degree statutory rape as a result of the inquiry. He’s accused of having sexual relations with a juvenile. Yeoman announced his resignation during a closed session last week. He was taken into custody and has been released on bond.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office also served a pair of warrants on allegations of failing to register as sex offenders. According to the report, Alvin Griffin, 41, was spotted in a residential area of Chillicothe. A subsequent investigation revealed Griffin had not registered as a sex offender in the state of Missouri. He was arrested and is being held on a $2,500 bond. Ronald Nickell, 63, was already in custody for a sexual misconduct charge when he was served a criminal summons for failing to register as a sex offender.
