Residents in the rural Carrollton area began reporting a series of break-ins in November. Christopher Mays, 32, was arrested on the fifth of December. The Springfield man faces two felony counts of property damange and six misdemeanor chrages of property damage and trespass.
The probable cause statement quotes him as saying he did it because he was bored at home and liked “the rush” and viewed security systems as a challenge. Mays claimed he never stole anything.
He is currently out on $15,000 bond. A court appearance is schduled for the 15th of January at 9:00.
