FULTON, Mo. — Brandon M. Taylor, 27, of Fulton, was charged July 17 with first-degree statutory rape of a person younger than 12, two counts of tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution for an incident in September 2019. He is also charged with attempted escape from custody while under arrest on July 16. Taylor was denied bond and is currently in custody at the Callaway County Jail. No court date for Taylor has been scheduled as of July 20.
