CLARK COUNTY, Mo. — A crash involving two vehicles Wednesday morning in Clark County sent three people to an area hospital.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates the accident occurred on Highway 136 about two miles west of Luray at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday.

A backhoe operated by 61-year-old Holland, Iowa resident David A. Hemran attempted to turn west onto 136 and pulled into the path of an eastbound mini van driven by Samantha R. Brush, 49, of Memphis, Mo.

Herman was uninjured in the crash. Brush and a passenger, Kevin A. Goosey, 54, also of Memphis, sustained serious injuries. They were both taken to blessing Hospital in Quincy to receive care.

A toddler passenger and Brush’s daughter, 28-year-old Jacqui N. Brush, was moderately injured. She was transported to Scotland County Hospital for treatment.
