The event kicked-off Friday and continues with a full slate of activities on Saturday beginning with opening ceremonies at 7 a.m. and the John Petrehn Memorial Cup Flight at 7:15 a.m.  “Then we have a parade at noon in downtown Brookfield,” said Techau, “There’s also arts and crafts in the Twin Parks in the afternoon.  We have flights scheduled at 6:00 p.m. and, weather permitting, we will have a balloon glow at the launch field.”

The day will wrap-up with a dance at the Elk’s Lodge at 9:00 p.m. with classic rock and country music by “High Mileage”.

Admission fees are charged only at the launch pad at $2 per person or $6 for a car load.

A full schedule can be found at the community calendar page.  More information is located at the event website.
