An accident in Johnson County Thursday morning sent a Windsor resident to the hospital. According to the Highway Patrol, Ronald Curtis, 35, was north on Highway 23 when he tried to pass traffic. While Curtis was passing vehicles, Candace Miller, 37, also of Windsor, pulled out into his path. Miller struck Curtis, causing him to drive off the left side of the road, hit 2 embankments, and become airborne. Curtis was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center with moderate injuries, an investigation continues.
