RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. — A Clark resident was killed during single-vehicle crash in Randolph County early Saturday morning.

According to the report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, Nickolaus M. Burton, 22, was traveling down a private drive 2 miles East of Higbee around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Burton’s vehicle reportedly crossed over County Road 2570, struck a mailbox, three fences and a tree, causing it to become engulfed in flames.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Randolph County Coroner.
