RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. — An accident Tuesday in Randolph County left a Moberly resident in the hospital with serious injuries, as well as potential felony charges against him.

Corresponding crash and arrest reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol allege that at 4 p.m., 43-year-old Jonathan Tindle’s westbound vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned, and ejected him.

He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of his serious injuries. Additionally, he was alleged to be feloniously driving while intoxicated.

Tindle remains in the hospital. Formal charges currently are pending.
