RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. — A crash east of Renick on 63 Highway in Randolph County injured a Moberly driver.

The Highway Patrol responded to U.S. 63 Highway, one mile east of Renick at 6:25 a.m. Thursday to reports of a crash involving a single vehicle.

24-year-old Erica N. Hilmas was northbound when she swerved to miss a deer in the roadway, ran off the right side, struck a ditch and became airborne before hitting the ground.

Hilmas reported minor injuries and was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center to be treated.
