(Update 9:55 a.m.) – KMZU reporter Brian Lock said there were no visible injuries and no emergency units were on scene as of 9:30 a.m. The crash appeared to have occurred after a tire blew out on a truck and it collided with the vehicle traveling directly in front of it.  The driver ran off the road before coming to rest in the yard of an Amish resident.


Original story: Emergency crews in Carroll County are responding to an accident on Highway 65, north of the Bogard junction.  According to scanner traffic, an unknown number of people were pushing a cart near an Amish greenhouse when the incident occurred.  Dispatchers have not said if a vehicle was involved and refused to provide additional details.  The extent of injuries is not known.  The accident happened shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday.  Drivers should avoid the area if possible.

This is the third accident in two weeks in that area.  The first was reported on May 29.  The second occurred on June 4.
