A Hale resident is now facing felony charges in both Livingston and Carroll Counties following the investigation into the December explosion of two grain bins. Randall Daniels, 52, was charged earlier this week with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in Livingston County and now will also answer to one count of unlawful possession of a weapon in Carroll County.
Officers located an oil filter converted to a silencer for a .22 caliber pistol during the execution of a search warrant at his home earlier this week. According to the probable cause statement, they also believe he had two juveniles present at the scene of the explosion.
A hearing is scheduled for Daniels in Carroll County on the 4th of February. Court proceedings are still pending in the Livingston county case.
