Additional hearings have been scheduled by the Missouri Public Service Commission regarding Grain Belt Express Clean Line.  If approved, this project would cover an approximate 206-mile-route across Missouri.

Numerous landowners have voiced their opposition citing concerns that include decreased in property value, changes to their ability to continue livestock and crop production, as well as health and safety issues.  Others have come out in support of the project saying it will bring increased revenue and opportunity to the state.

The additional hearings are scheduled in Jefferson City for November 12th through the 14th.
