(UPDATE: 04/14/ 11:50 a.m.)- A probable cause statement was filed and received by KMZU News alleging the sexual assault of three different children by Joshua Lee Miller, in a span of three years and additional charges.
According to the probable cause statement, each victim experienced, and was able to explain, a series of touching and grabbing by Miller that in most instances made the children “uncomfortable”. Probable cause report also indicates Miller would inappropriately touch the victims during the night when the victims would be sleeping in Miller’s home.
On Wednesday, Miller was placed under arrest and refused to speak regarding the alleged charges and requested an attorney.
Miller is now facing eight counts of 1st-degree Child Molestation and five counts of 1st-degree Statutory Sodomy.
He remains in custody at the Pettis County Jail and future court dates are pending.
PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. – A warrant was issued Thursday, against a Sedalia man, for allegedly molesting three children.
Court documents say Joshua Lee Miller, 32, is now charged with one count of felony statutory sodomy in the first degree and bond has been set at $250,000 cash. Sedalia Police assisted the Missouri Children’s Division on March 8, after one of the children, ages 13, 10 and 9, gave their mother a note saying Miller touched them inappropriately.
Additional charges are expected to be filed in the near future.
