UPDATE: (05/17/19, 2:00 a.m.) – The Missouri Highway Patrol has identified five victims, four of those children, involved in a fatal one vehicle crash in Miller County.
The major crash unit of the Missouri Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash on westbound 54 Highway, West of Highway 87. Investigators say a vehicle driven by Radiance M. Wright, 30, of Columbia, traveled off the left side of the road and overturned multiple times. Wright along with, 8 year old Rondrea Anderson, 8, Arleone D. Horton, 4, and infant Byra E. Brown were pronounced at the scene. Patience D. Horton, 3, passed away at Lake Regional Hospital.

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol says one adult and four children were victims of a fatal crash in Miller County Wednesday evening.

The one vehicle crash was reported on eastbound Highway 54 a little before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Traffic was diverted at Highways 52 and 87 so the major crash unit could investigate. The highway reopened around 8:30 p.m Wednesday.

The names of the deceased will be released later in a crash report. Those details will be provided as soon as they are made available.
