Authorities are searching for the suspect in a Boonville robbery Wednesday night. The Cooper County Sheriff’s Office reports a black male entered Passions Video Store just before ten-thirty and demanded money from the attendant on duty. He is described as standing between five feet three inches and five feet six inches and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt at the time. He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun. The suspect made off with a small amount of money and nobody was harmed. Cooper County Deputies are continuing the investigation.

At approximately 10:24pm on 7/11/2012, Cooper County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at Passions Video located on Old Five Drive near the Rt.B and I-70 interchange at Boonville. A single suspect entered the business and demanded money from the attendant on duty. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and was gone upon the arrival of Law Enforcement. The suspect is believed to be a black male, approximately 5’3” to 5’6” in height. He wore a grey in color hooded sweatshirt. The suspect made off with a small amount of cash. The attendant was shaken up but did not appear to have sustained any injuries. Cooper County Deputies continue to investigate the incident.
