Students in the 9th through 12th grades once again have a chance to win a thousand dollars – a trip to Washington, D.C. – and recognition during the Celebration of Ag Dinner on March 15th!
The National Ag Day Essay Contest is underway and this time students have TWO ways to win.  Not only can students write an original essay of 450 words – they can also enter a two-minute video about the importance of agriculture. This year’s theme is American Agriculture: Your Food. Your Farmer.  Participants should address how the ag industry continues to feed a growing world.
February 4th is the deadline for entries.  Students can find details at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting website.  That’s at NAFB.com.
Two students will win a thousand dollars. Plus – the written essay winner will get a trip to the nation’s capital.
