Those who have a background in agriculture, but find themselves missing farm connections in this day and age might enjoy the group Singles in Agriculture.  Although the name of the organization sounds like a place for rural romance to blossom, President of the Missouri chapter, Linda Clark says the nationwide group is more like a place to network with people of similar interests.

Clark says she joined the group several years ago after the life altering event of losing her husband.  As a widow she says joining the organization and connecting with other farm folks has been the best thing she’s done for herself.

Clark says the Missouri chapter hosts gatherings at various locations across the state so members can take in new experiences.
This Saturday May 21st they will host the Missouri Chapter’s annual meeting in Sedalia.  Anyone with an agriculture background is welcome to attend.  The event will take place at 11 a.m. at Ryan’s Restaurant in Sedalia.
