The Missouri Livestock and Farm Protection Task Force has been very productive for rural Missouri since the program was reinstated two years ago. Missouri Director of Agriculture Dr. Jon Hagler says the taskforce is a cooperative effort of several agencies brought together with grant funding.

Since 2009 the task force has recovered over $2.5 million in property, investigated 815 rural crime incidents and made 162 arrests.
Rural crimes include burglaries and theft of equipment, fuel, livestock, chemicals, metal or property damage and arson.
