BATES COUNTY, MO. — A Springfield man is facing multiple allegations after a traffic stop Monday night.
An arrest report from the Highway Patrol indicates that Michael S. Williams, 29, was stopped by a trooper in Bates County Monday.
Williams, who was detained just before 9:40 p.m. Monday, now faces preliminary charges for felony possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a firearm and driving while intoxicated.
Williams was taken to the Bates County Jail where he was placed on a 12-hour investigative hold. Formal charges are currently pending.
