A large crowd will gather over the weekend in Alma for their 4th of July festivities at the City Park on Main Street.

Some of the events include a baby contest at 6 p.m. Friday, free entertainment Friday at 7:30 p.m. from the Trinity Lutheran School Band, along with German food, homemade pies and much more.
KMZU’s Janet Adkison and Marie King will be there for a live broadcast Saturday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Fireworks will be held both Friday and Saturday nights at 10:30.
Their beer garden will also be up and running both nights, including DJ Random Joe.
Alma is about a quarter mile southeast of the junction of highways 20 and 23.
